Hangzhou

This is inside the huge Hangzhou East Railway Station. As with many places in China you feel like being in the future. The station is a high-speed rail hub, which became operational on 1 July 2013. The Hangzhou metropolitan area holds over 22 million people.

Fake Paris in China

This is not Paris. I visited this slightly smaller Eiffel Tower in Tianducheng, China.

Contrary to many news sites, it is not abandoned. Many people live inside the french replica houses. There are shops, restaurants and a lot of game centers for children around the town.

Chinese Dragonfly

I found this dragonfly in Wuyishan, China.

But I could not understand what it said because of its weird accent.

Chongqing

Chongqing in China is the most populated municipality in the world, with over 31 million people. While visiting Chongqing you can certainly feel how huge the city is.

Dreamy Tulou

The Fujian Tulou are the best preserved and most representative examples of the tulou of the mountainous regions of south China. The large dramatic earthen defensive buildings, built between the 13th and 20th centuries are an extraordinary reflection of the Hakka settlement.

Inside Tulou

I took this photo inside one of the oldest Tulou Clusters in Fujian, China.

Fujian Tulou

These buildings in China are a UNESCO World Heritage, since they are up 700 years old and still habited by the Hakka people.
